13 April 2022The CFO of Interface Globe, was a guest at transmission Business, a Telelombardia program, where it has deepened various themes on the hotel world, tv hotel and the protection of privacy on Smart TV.
Interface Globe deals with digitalization and audiovisual technologies for the hotel and hospitality world from 2013 on all the national territory with 170 installers.
The interview reiteratedimportance of data protection also compared to the hotel guests. There are Smart TVs made specifically for the hotel world with solutions exclusively produced with Samsung, Lg and Philips to ensure the privacy of people. Unfortunately many owners and hotel managers mistakenly believe that just buy a TV with Hotel Mode function in order to be able to be comply with GDPR and respect privacy. In fact, these functions are exclusively related to the cloning of the channel list with USB stick and the volume block and therefore do not reset browsing chronologies. For the hotelier are also provided with heavy pecuniary sanctions in case of lack of respect for privacy. Precisely for this reason it is not possible to buy consumer Smart TV because the navigation data and passwords of the previous guest will be kept in memory.
Interface Globe is also active abroad. in particular France and Switzerland, and remains open to an international expansion. The focus of the business remains in Italy, where the hotel sector is very important (more than 40,000 hotels and more than 1 million rooms). Moreover, the hotels in Italy need to age, exploiting the digital and renewing themselves also in terms of renovation and modernization of the premises.
During the pandemic from Covid-19 Interface Globe has decided to produce sanitized remote controls by oviating to the problem of classical remote controls that remain often dirty with the powder that nests between the keys, vehiculating viruses and bacteria. The keys of the sanitized remote control are not embossed as those of the traditional remote control, so they are easy to clean and igienize.
